The Rotary Club of Grimsby has contributed to local causes and projects for 50 years in Grimsby.
The 2018 Fantasy of Trees raised over $20,000 through silent auction and lottery proceeds. Recipients are chosen for their broad reach into our local community. In 2019 those charities were Rose Cottage – Visiting Volunteers a Hospice program, Fort, which empowers youth to make positive and successful life choices through opportunities and guidance, Special Olympics, the Niagara West Adult Learning Centre, West Niagara Second Stage Housing & Counselling, and McNally House.
The Fantasy of Trees is designed, created and staffed by Rotarians and the many friends of Rotary who provide hundreds of hours annually to make Fantasy of Trees a great community event. Join them in creating this event. Enjoy the festival of trees – bring your family, friends and neighbours. This is a free event in which Handling Specialty donates a decorated tree for auction to support these important community charities.
