Overview
These nose cone maintenance platforms were custom engineered to meet the customer’s specific application requirements and are used by maintenance personnel to access the windshield area to inspect, clean, repair and replace components. The nose cone platforms travel on the shop’s running rail and are positioned manually or via fork truck. The lift and lower of the platform is controlled by a handheld pendant. It is driven by a direct drive chain system complete with an integrated mechanical locking ratchet system for secondary anti-fall protection. Handling Specialty can design/build custom work & maintenance platforms for various applications that require safe, robust and reliable access to difficult to reach areas.
